Verna and Nick’s wedding at Armature Works in Tampa, Florida was bold, modern and unapologetically colorful. Vibrant shades of hot pink, coral, red, burgundy and fresh green brought an energetic, fashion-forward feel to the industrial architecture of one of Tampa’s most recognizable wedding venues.

For Verna’s bridal bouquet, we created a dramatic cascading design filled with statement orchids, rich magenta and coral blooms, sculptural textures and trailing green amaranthus. Rather than a traditional rounded bouquet, the flowers were designed with movement and asymmetry, creating a piece that felt as much like wearable art as it did a bridal bouquet.

The ceremony florals continued that sculptural approach. Instead of a traditional floral arch, arrangements were displayed at varying heights on clean white pedestals, allowing each design to stand on its own. Anthurium, calla lilies, roses and unexpected textural elements created organic shapes and dramatic lines against Armature Works' exposed brick and dark wood.

Additional floral arrangements lined the aisle, paired with ribbons in shades of pink, red and ivory for another playful layer of color and movement. The result was contemporary and editorial while still feeling romantic enough for the ceremony.

One of our favorite details was the couple's welcome display. A colorful ground arrangement of hydrangea, anthurium and other statement blooms sat against a custom fabric sign finished with trailing ribbons—a perfect introduction to the color and personality guests would find throughout the wedding.

As the celebration transitioned into the reception, the flowers became part of the atmosphere rather than competing with it. Petite, airy arrangements added pops of pink to the tables while the larger pedestal designs created dramatic floral moments around the couple's sweetheart table. Against Armature Works' exposed brick, warm wood and evening lighting, the vivid florals completely came alive.

Verna and Nick's wedding is a perfect example of what happens when couples aren't afraid of color, interesting flowers and a little bit of weirdness. From cascading orchids to sculptural anthurium and playful ribbons, every element felt intentional without feeling overly polished or traditional.
